The last decade has brought a breakthrough in Holocaust research, both in terms of the availability of archival sources and the digital tools used to analyse source materials. Digitisation, the creation of digital repositories, and the integration of archival descriptions and metadata have expanded the availability of resources for researchers, as well as emerging new topics and increasing research opportunities. At the same time, constantly improving methods and new tools in the field of digital humanities not only allow for the use of various technological solutions in everyday scientific work, but also for the creation of diverse research projects focused on big and small data analysis, networking and mapping.
